Rossana Salazar
Rossana Salazar is a bilingual public health and early childhood professional dedicated to advancing health equity, food access, and culturally responsive community engagement. She works with the Collaborative for Educational Services in Massachusetts and is currently pursuing a Ph.D. in Environmental Conservation at UMass Amherst, focusing on Indigenous health and environmental challenges in Latin America. A Registered Nurse with a Master of Public Health, she brings over two decades of experience supporting families and strengthening community-based programs rooted in social justice.

Rani Parker
Dr. Rani Parker is Chair of the Amherst Human Rights Commission, with extensive global experience in corporate-community engagement and participatory development. She is the founder of BCS, where she supports organizations in building equitable, locally driven partnerships and assessing social impact. Her work spans international development, corporate advisory roles, and community-centered policy design focused on accountability and sustainable impact. She brings a strong commitment to ensuring that community voices are central in shaping equitable and effective solutions.

Treasurer
Robert Hegner
Robert Hegner is the Treasurer of Amherst Mobile Market and a former Amherst Town Councilor and Finance Committee member. He brings experience in municipal finance, academic work, business consulting, and large-scale project management to his role. He is committed to supporting the organization’s financial stewardship and long-term sustainability, providing steady oversight that helps strengthen the organization’s operational stability and planning. He helps ensure transparency and accountability in how the organization manages its resources.

Jennifer Moyston
​Jennifer Moyston is the Assistant Director of Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion for the Town of Amherst and serves on the Governance Committee of Amherst Mobile Market. She previously worked for over a decade with the Town of Amherst and has held leadership roles in local food access work, including as Food Pantry Coordinator at the Amherst Survival Center. She is currently the Director of Community Partnerships at 80 Acres, a local nonprofit, and brings over 30 years of experience supporting low-income individuals and those with mental and physical challenges. Raised in Amherst, she is deeply committed to empowering the community and advancing systemic change through equity-centered collaboration.

José Lugo
​José Lugo, M.A. (tlacatl) is the Native Education Liaison at the Collaborative for Educational Services, supporting Native Nations and Indigenous individuals through consultation, technical assistance, and curriculum development. Focus includes Native and Indigenous wellness and educational practices, with an emphasis on improving accurate representation of Indigenous perspectives in schools. Collaboration includes statewide initiatives such as the State Tribal Education Partnership, Traditional Ecological Knowledge conferences, and DESE curriculum and advisory work. A Chicano-Macehualli with a Master’s in Multicultural Literature, committed to advocacy, representation, and educational equity for Indigenous communities.

​Priya supports the Amherst Mobile Market by overseeing financial, operational, developmental, and administrative processes that keep the program running smoothly. She drives the organization’s financial health and growth through infrastructure and partnership management, fundraising strategy, grant writing, logistics, marketing, and comprehensive oversight of financial and administrative operations.

Andres Cucalon
Andres oversees day-to-day operations and developments to ensure efficient and effective program delivery. He leads fundraising, partnerships, media relations, and marketing strategy, while coordinating logistics and community engagement efforts that strengthen relationships and expand the market’s reach and impact, and he also oversees on-site market operations to ensure events run seamlessly.
